Between the dates of 04-05 June 2019 - researchers, engineers, officials from  different countries participated at the Second CASPISNET Annual Meeting on a theme of "CASPIAN BASIN DEVELOPMENT AT THE HEART OF CLIMATE CHANGE – WATER – ENERGY – FOOD NEXUS: REGIONAL PATHWAYS TO SUSTAINABILITY" which was held at Holiday Inn Hotel, Baku, Azerbaijan. 

President of ANAS Acad. Akif Alizade in his speech at the opening ceremony of the CASPISNET Annual Meeting highly appreciated and supported our work.  Recently joined to CASPISNET team, Prof., Spiro Pollalis University of Harvard (Director of Zofnass Program on Sustainable Infrastructure), Dr. Jon Marco Church Associate Professor for Sustainability and Governance/ UNECE Expert in Water Diplomacy for Central Asia and Governance (the University of Reims), also Katja Schaefer Inter-Regional  Advisor United Nations Human Settlement Program and others were appreciated and mentioned the in-time and important role of CASPISNET potential in Sustainable Development of the Caspian Sea region.  We have also enlarged our partnership with new diplomatic missions of foreign countries such as Italy and Chile.
