In June 2019 within the CASPISNET Annual Meeting/Workshop organised series of workshops in  application of Geographic Information System (GIS) on different domains with the support of world wide GIS company - ESRI. Within the cooperation between CASPISNET  and ESRI company it was decided to organise CASPISNET - ESRI International Training/Workshop between the dates  03-12 June 2019 in Holiday Inn Hotel, Baku, Azerbaijan. 

The third workshop within this program was organised  between the dates 09-11 of June, on a theme of - Spatial Analysis with ArcGIS Pro. Fifteen experienced  local and international young researchers, professionals from different Institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Institute of Geography, Institute of Geology and Geophysics), Universities (University of Geneva, Baku state University, National Aviation Academy), Governmental Organisations (Azercosmos) and also private sector (BP, SOCAR, Socar-Fugro, LIGHTHOUSE GEO and others) participated in this workshop. Two day lasted program contain 24 hours of full course. All participants were awarded by appropriate certificate presented by ESRI.

CASPISNET - ESRI International Training/Workshop on a theme of Introduction to GIS using ArcGIS organised between the dates  09 - 11 June 2019 –  first of all was addressed to specialists  and researchers highly experienced in their domain specialised in one or in different disciplines including Natural Sciences, Earth Sciences, Applied Sciences and also Social Sciences related to the Caspian Sea region with application of Remote Sensing and GIS technologies.
